Pegasus Solutions Adds to Global Sales Force

Pegasus Solutions
today announced it has strengthened its sales force around the world, adding six key sales positions in Western Europe and three in the United States.Ê These new salespeople bring experience from companies like 4Oceans, VIP International, Leading Hotels of the World, TravelCLICK and Marriott. Each salesperson is responsible for sales of all applicable Pegasus services to the market segments and regions they serve.Ê Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions is a global leader in providing technology and services to hotels and travel distributors.

With today’s announcement, Pegasus now has nearly 100 salespeople around the globe. Roughly half of the sales team is serving customers in the Americas, led by Ralph Compton, vice president of sales.Ê Peter Fitzgerald leads sales efforts outside the Americas, with approximately 50 representatives in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Pegasus bolsters Western European presence

In Frankfurt, Germany, Heinrich Kessler joins as director of sales, responsible for sales to hotels throughout Central and Eastern Europe, plus northern Africa.Ê He previously was managing director at Ihr Hotel/Your Hotel Worldwide.Ê

Cho Wong recently joined Pegasus’ London office as director of sales, with responsibilities for sales to hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.Ê Previously, he was director of business development at 4oceans, responsible for its China and Asia-Pacific operations.

Gloria Gomez Hernandez joined Pegasus’ Madrid office as an account manager serving hotel customers in Southern Europe.Ê Gomez has 20 years of experience in the travel industry, coming to Pegasus from a position as sales manager at VIP International.Ê Also joining the Madrid office is Jesus de Jorge Laguna as an account manager, working with travel distributors in Spain, Italy and Portugal.Ê He has more than 10 years of experience in the travel industry and was previously director of international sales for Viajes Marsans, a leading Spanish travel agency and exclusive partner of Business Travel International (BTI) in Spain.

In Milan, Nicolas Guarch joins Pegasus as an account executive, also responsible for sales and account management for travel distributors throughout Italy.Ê Previously, Guarch had been based in Pegasus’ London office in Croydon, working with customers in the company’s service delivery department.Ê Additionally, Vittorio Deotto joined the Milan office as an account manager, responsible for sales to hotel customers throughout Italy.

Company adds sales talent in several key U.S. markets
Evelyne Sansaricq recently joined the New York office as a director of strategic accounts for the Northeastern United States and Canada.Ê Sansaricq was previously vice president of hotel relations for Leading Interactive, a Leading Hotels of the World company.Ê With more than 20 years in the hotel industry, she was a founding member of HEDNA and has held a variety of corporate and on-property positions in the United States and Europe.

In Dallas, John Owens joined as a strategic accounts director for the Western United States and Canada, and will serve hotel customers throughout that region.Ê Previously, Owens was a regional director of sales for TravelCLICK.Ê His experience also includes stints in business development and sales with Lanyon, Meristar Hotels and Resorts, Wilson Hotel Management, Marriott and Aston Hotels and Resorts.

Finally, Jeff Cain joined as a strategic accounts director serving travel distributors throughout the Western United States and Canada.Ê Cain had been both vice president of sales and vice president of operations forÊ Travel and Transport, the fifteenth largest travel management company in the United States.Ê Prior to working for T&T, he was the national sales manager for Galileo International, where he managed a team responsible for closing Galileo’s largest GDS agreements.
