Blue Horizons set to open July 5, 2005

Following a major US$1.2 million refurbishment project, the 32-room Blue Horizons Garden Resort in Grenada will re-open its doors on July 5, 2005 and present a significantly upgraded product for its guest base of divers, nature enthusiasts and travelers seeking a tropical destination at affordable prices.ÊBlue Horizons closed in September 2004 after Hurricane Ivan in order to make the necessary repairs as the resort sustained roof and water damage but no structural damage.

“While Hurricane Ivan was not a welcome visitor, we’re taking this opportunity to completely revitalize our resort product with brand new furnishings, a fresh and exciting color scheme, and select structural renovations to enhance the flow of the property,” said Arnold Hopkin, owner of Blue Horizons Garden Resort.

“While the resort will have a new spruced-up look, it will retain the charming character, informal appeal and picturesque surroundings that have made it a success for over 25 years,” said Hopkin.Ê“While the resort will have a new spruced-up look, it will retain the charming character, informal appeal and picturesque surroundings that have made it a success for over 25 years,” said Hopkin.
