Bagelers Take Flight With Spirit Airlines

Spirit Airlines, a leading low-cost airline, announced today the latest addition to its new in-flight buy-on-board Spirit Snacks menu. Starting today, Spirit will be the first airline to offer Bagelers brand, bagel and cream cheese bars on its in-flight menu during all morning flights.

“After an overwhelmingly successful recent test run on our flights between Ft. Lauderdale and New York, it was a very easy decision to add this popular, convenient, tasty product to our expanding Spirit Snacks menu on all morning flights,” said Lynne Koreman, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications of Spirit Airlines. “Bagelers are ideal for airline travel because they are easy to eat, not messy and they appeal to our customers’ palates and wallets.”

The bars are made with all natural New York style bagel dough and filled with cream cheese. Spirit Plus customers, who have always received complimentary beverages and a snack, will be able to sample Bagelers at no extra charge. The charge to coach customers will be $2 per bar.

“Airline travelers love bagels and breakfast bars and Bagelers bring the best qualities of both to the table,” said Troy Schwartzberg, Executive Vice President of Bagelers. “Spirit’s passengers will be the first to experience our over four generations of New York style bagel making experience in-flight. We have chosen a terrific partner in Spirit and couldn’t be happier to take to the skies with them.”
