United Offers Nonstop Summer Service to Vail

United Airlines will offer
daily nonstop summertime service to Vail from its hub airports in Chicago
and Denver, providing the only air summer service to Vail from these
cities. “Colorado is an ideal vacation destination in all seasons. We are pleased
to expand our service in this growing market,” said Greg Taylor, senior
vice president of Planning for United. “United and its Express carriers
offer travelers a nationwide flight network with connections to points
around the globe.”

United’s new mainline Vail/Denver service will be available from June 6 to
Sept. 6, 2005. This service is in addition to the three daily Vail/Denver
flights currently operated by United Express.

“Eagle County is a beautiful place in a beautiful state and it is no
wonder there is a growing demand from tourists and business people for
more access,” said U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar (CO). “I applaud United for
filling this needed service.”

“I am pleased to hear that United will be expanding service to the Eagle
County Airport. Adding flights during the summer season will give Western
Slope residents more travel options and will help business development and
the tourist industry up and down the I-70 corridor,” said U.S. Rep. Mark
Udall (CO). His district includes Eagle County.
