Cendant Corporation’s Hotel Group today announced the launch of a newly redesigned Web site that provides timely, up-to-date franchising information on demand.
The site, www.hotelfranchise.com, is designed to help developers learn about franchising Cendant’s Super 8, Days Inn, Ramada, Travelodge, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Wingate Inn and AmeriHost Inn lodging brands.
For each brand, there is a “console page” featuring the brand history, customer profile, vision, marketing initiatives and property photos. The page also describes Cendant Hotel Group support services and steps involved in developing a hotel.
The site also offers information on international franchising, minority development incentives and Hotel Group initiatives including the new TripRewards loyalty program.
Interested developers are invited to log on to the site and complete a questionnaire that will be forwarded to one of the Hotel Group’s seven regional franchise sales and development offices for follow-up.
Tom Bernardo, Hotel Group executive vice president of franchise sales and development, said the redesigned www.hotelfranchise.com site “demonstrates our commitment to helping developers get the information they need, when they need it.”
“Our goal is to help prospective franchisees get off to a fast start,” he said. “Hotelfranchise.com gives developers the background they need to do just that. The sooner they can access information on our portfolio of brands and services, the sooner they can realize the benefits of franchising.”
The site explains how Cendant’s size, resources and strategic industry relationships offer compelling reasons for hotel owners to affiliate with one of its eight brands, he said. “As the world’s largest lodging franchisor, Cendant can provide franchisees with tremendous marketing and purchasing muscle.”
