Where in the world are your new visitors? This is one of the questions to which delegates will seek answers during a highly anticipated general session at the 27th Annual Caribbean Tourism Conference (CTC-27) coming up in Aruba next week.In keeping with the conference theme, Caribbean Tourism: Driving Business in the Global Economy, the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has organised a pertinent session that focuses on diversification of sources of business.
“Caribbean destinations understand the value of diversifying their sources of business,” said Karen Ford-Warner, CTO’s acting secretary general. “Identifying new sources both geographically and by special niches and preparing for the demands of an entirely new culture of visitors is germane to this diversification.”
The session, entitled Prospecting for Business. Where In the World are Your New Visitors?Ê will also identify the risks of alienating loyal visitors in the search for new ones and will discuss examples of best practices.
