Flight Centre Launches Travel Catalogue

Flight Centre UK this week launches its first-ever issue of a quarterly
travel magazine ‘The Captains Travel Catalogue’, which will be available
to customers through its 72 high street stores as well as being
distributed in a Sunday newspaper insert and to 25,000 customer’s from its
client database.
The travel catalogue has been brought out to highlight to the consumer the
vast product range that is available through Flight Centre stores,
including holiday packages and tailor-made itineraries, and ultimately to
boost land sales, a key focus for the travel retailer over the next year.

Shane Parlato, marketing manager at Flight Centre said: “We have launched
the Captain’s Travel Catalogue now as this is a key booking period for
Autumn city breaks and Christmas holidays, as well as being a planning
time for next year’s holidays.

“The packages on offer are aimed at both the cost-conscious traveller as
well as those that want to splash out on something a bit more luxurious,”
adds Mr Parlato.

The Captain’s Travel Catalogue offers a range of European city break
destinations from Athens to Warsaw; winter deals and cruises as well as
packages to the USA, Asia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Highlights include FREE first class upgrades on Eurostar, early bird
discounts, a range of winter packages from 3-nights at the Ice Hotel in
Lulea from £670 and to a winter adventure week in Lapland from £1,255, and
a pay for 3 stay for 4 nights at the exclusive Lion Sands Private Game
Reserve in the Kruger National Park, South Africa.
