Excel to launch weekly flights to Antigua with fares starting at GBP 299

Following stat’s published yesterday that UK arrivals to Antigua increased by 34.5% from January to May 2004, with figures for the month of April showing an increase of 66% the island is to benefit from an additional weekly flight with Excel Airways starting 14th December, with return fares leading in at £299.

Excel Airways will fly direct from London Gatwick every Tuesday, offering a three-class service, operating through to the end of April 2005.

Commenting on this additional airlift to Antigua, Minister of Tourism, Hon. Harold Lovell said: “Excel Airways is a welcome addition to Antigua’s weekly flight schedule from the UK, particularly as it offers Antigua and Barbuda’s visitors such an excellent choice of fare options from real bargains to real style”.
