Summer days may make you feel
fine, but Southwest Airlines low fares will soon be running through your
mind or at least through your fingers. Southwest Airlines is offering a
systemwide summer sale with internet-only fares as low as $39 one- way.
Fares are available seven days a week. “Southwest Airlines is pleased to offer these internet-only fares to our
Customers,” said Joyce Rogge, Southwest’s senior vice president of
marketing. “With the kids returning to school soon, these fares make a
weekend getaway that much easier.”

Fares range from $39 one-way to $99 one-way and are available seven days a

* $39 one-way fares are available between Burbank and Oakland, between
Nashville and Ft. Lauderdale, and between Baltimore/Washington and Long
Island/Islip. * $49 one-way fares are available between Albany and
Jacksonville, between Hartford and Orlando, and between Providence and
West Palm Beach. * $59 one-way fares are available between Seattle/Tacoma
and Oakland, between Detroit Metro and Tampa Bay, and between Cleveland
and Ft. Lauderdale. * $79 one-way fares are available between Albuquerque
and Tampa Bay, between Spokane and Burbank, and between Seattle and
Phoenix. Fare Rules

Fares are available one-way and are combinable with all other fares. If
combining with other fares, the most restrictive fare’s rules apply. The
fares, except Florida fares, are available for purchase today through
August 5, 2004, and are valid for travel from August 16, 2004, through the
end of Southwest’s published schedule (currently Oct. 29, 2004). Florida
fares are available for purchase today through August 5, 2004, and are
valid for travel from August 16, 2004 through Sept. 30, 2004. Tickets must
be purchased at least 14 days before departure. Seats are limited and will
not be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel
times and holiday periods. Fares do not include a $3.10 federal segment
tax per takeoff and landing. Fares do not include airport-assessed
passenger facility charges (PFC) of up to $9 one-way and U.S.
government-imposed September 11th Security Fees of up to $5 one-way. Fares
are subject to change until ticketed. Tickets are nonrefundable but may be
applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Fares
are valid on published, scheduled service only and are not available
through the Group Desk. Any change in itinerary may result in an increase
in fare. Fares are not necessarily common rated in Houston, the Bay Area,
or the Los Angeles Basin. Orange County’s John Wayne Airport and Houston’s
Intercontinental Airport are not included in this sale. Customers who book
