The tactical tool allows operators to vary the price of many products according to demand or circumstance. Prices can be adjusted immediately and are visible in real time across all of the sales channels in which the operator has a presence. The product could be used to create special offers at short notice or to help an operator react to competitor initiatives.
Operators can use the strategic pricing tool to vary the price of some products according to the sales channel. This can be used to drive sales through specific channels, such as a call centre or an online booking site.
