LodgeNet Helping Hampton Inn Drive Summer Marketing

Corporation , one of the world’s largest providers of interactive
television systems and broadband services to the hospitality industry, is
helping Hampton Inn(R) and Hampton Inn & Suites(R) increase exposure for
the “Get Out And Play” Sweepstakes summer promotion in Hampton hotels
across the United States. On June 1, a Playcations(TM) promotional spot premiered on the first-up
Welcome Channel in 369 Hampton Inns and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels
installed with LodgeNet’s sigNETure TV(SM) marketing and entertainment
system. The spot is presented in a Hampton branded interactive TV
environment developed by LodgeNet and Hampton to extend the Hampton We
Love Having You Here(TM) brand philosophy into the guest room. Guests in
more than 37,000 rooms will see the spot, which is in nonstop rotation
through August 14.

“The ‘Get Out And Play’ campaign is a terrific opportunity to put the
power of sigNETure TV to work,” said Darla Schultz, Vice President
Marketing for LodgeNet. “Hampton’s campaign is all about driving consumers
to their Website. There’s no better prospect than the guest that’s already
in the room. It’s reaching the right audience, at the right time, with the
right message.”

Schultz explained that LodgeNet used its back-end Media Management System
and satellite distribution network to remotely deliver the Playcations
spot to all sigNETure TV equipped Hampton properties. “The simultaneous
deployment of targeted promotional messaging to hundreds of Hampton
properties illustrates how our digital platform can optimize the
capabilities of the most prolific and powerful marketing tool available to
hoteliers: the guest room television,” she said.

Hampton has designed its “Get Out And Play” campaign to direct prospective
family vacationers to http://www.hamptoninn.com/ for hotel reservations as
well as information on thousands of activities and expert advice on
maximizing the vacation experience. In addition, anyone booking a room via
http://www.hamptoninn.com/ through August 14 will receive one of three
e-coupons, good for a discount at Lands’ End(R), Borders(R), or Dan’s
Chocolates(R).
