Citrus Brings the Executive Lunch to Mayfair

The Citrus restaurant at The Sheraton
Park Lane Hotel
on Piccadilly has introduced a 45 minute Executive Lunch
for the
busy office worker who needs a guarantee that he or she can have a
great
quality two course meal, pay and be back at their desks within the
hour.The restaurant is offering executive diners a two course menu for £15
including bottled water and coffees, that takes 45 minutes from first
ordering to paying the bill.  This offer will be from Monday to Friday
between the hours of 12 and 2pm.  In addition guests will be able to
choose
coffee at their table or a coffee to go if they are in a real rush.

Torsten Richter, Food and Beverage Manager, The Park Lane Hotel said,
“Lots
of our lunch guests, whether dining with colleagues or for a business
lunch,
are under a lot of time pressure and for many of us the days of long
lunches
are over.  Therefore we wanted to introduce this service for them
offering
great tasting and great value food without going over people’s one hour
lunch window.  For the first month if people don’t get served and out
within 45 minutes then we will give them a voucher for a free lunch for
two.”

The head chef is Andrew Bennett who has been with The Sheraton Park
Lane
Hotel since 1996 and, while classically trained at Claridges and The
Berkeley, is also passionate about the fresh, lively flavours and
ingredients of modern Mediterranean cooking. In planning the menus he
looks
to combine many British staple ingredients - meat, game, fish and
seafood -
with a mix of Mediterranean herbs, spices, dressings and sauces.

The Citrus restaurant offers a taste of the Mediterranean in Mayfair,
with
all the fabulous flavours of France, Italy, Greece, Spain and Morocco.
Opened in May 2000, the restaurant has leafy views across Green Park
and a
bright, modern decor featuring shades of okra, green, aquamarine and
yellow,
with two colourful wall mosaics, wooden tables, leather banquette
seating
and a spectacular stainless steel ceiling light.

Citrus is open daily, lunch (Noon-3pm) and dinner (5.30-11.30pm)
daily, and
reservations can be made on 020-7290 7364.  Please quote ‘Executive
