Raffles International is pleased to announce several new appointments in its marketing organisation: Mr Anthony Khoo as Vice President of Marketing:
Mr Khoo oversees brand marketing and brand development; loyalty marketing; distribution and e-marketing. Mr Khoo’s responsibilities also include market planning and management of the group’s customer relationship management system.
A veteran marketer, Mr Khoo has more than 18 years of experience in the tourism, hospitality and real estate industries. Prior to his joining Raffles International, Mr Khoo was Assistant Director, Tourism Culture at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) where he was instrumental in the conceptualisation and implementation of the successful “Live It Up” Singapore domestic tourism programmes. As the Assistant Director of Tourism Culture, he was responsible for the development of Art of Service, a service proposition for in-employment attitudinal change to drive better service standards in the tourism industry.
Mr Khoo was also Assistant Director, Exhibitions at STB where he was responsible for marketing Singapore as a premier Exhibition City in Asia. He supervised the International Exhibition City programme which awards tradeshows of international standing with the ‘Approved International Fair’ status.
Mr Khoo holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California.
Ms Shiela Gomez as Regional Director, Global Sales, Asia Pacific Region:
Ms Gomez, as Regional Director, Global Sales for the Asia Pacific region, oversees the group’s global sales offices in Singapore, Hongkong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney.
Prior to this appointment, Ms Gomez was Director of Sales and Marketing at Raffles Hotel. She had been with Raffles Hotel for 13 years and she was responsible for sales activities in the area of luxury travel and has tremendous experience working with organisations such as Virtuoso and American Express.
Mr James Fallon as Regional Director, Global Sales, North America Region:
Mr Fallon oversees the global sales offices in North America which are located in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Prior to this appointment, Mr Fallon was the Director, Global Accounts - Northeast Region at the New York Global Sales Office where he was responsible for the solicitation, contracting and on-going sales activities in the consulting, manufacturing and entertainment segments. He has been in the hotel industry for more than 20 years with a track record in global corporate sales, business development and hotel operations. Mr Fallon graduated in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology.
Besides North America and Asia Pacific, Raffles International has global sales offices in Europe, located in London, Frankfurt, Paris and Zurich. Ms Petra Goetting, Vice President for Global Sales, has oversight of these global sales offices in addition to leading the global sales teams worldwide.
Mrs Diana Ee-Tan, Senior Vice President, Marketing, said, “With these new appointments, we have also restructured our sales and marketing teams to enable us to stay closer to our global key accounts and respond more quickly to our customers and partners.”
