Cheapflights Appoints Site Director and Architect

Cheapflights Ltd.
has created the role of Site Director and Architect.  Alan Arnfeld has been appointed to the new position effective immediately.  He will be in charge of the user experience and ensure that the network’s usability and navigation continue to be best of breed.  Alan will also be responsible for the look and feel of Cheapflights network of websites. Prior to his Cheapflights’ appointment, Alan was a design manager at the Yahoo! European Headquarters in London.  Alan has been working in the field of User Experience for over 12 years across a wide range of industries and has also held positions responsible for this in a range of organisations including SEMA Group Plc, Xansa, Thames Water, QinetiQ and as a freelance consultant.

Alan is a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society, a Registered Ergonomist of The Ergonomist Society, UK and a member of the Usability Professionals Association.  He also holds an MSc in Information Systems (with distinction) from the University of Portsmouth as well as a BSc(2:1) in Applied Psychology and Sociology from the University of Surrey. Alan has published widely in the field and is currently a reviewer for publications listed on www.reviews.com
