America West Airlines announced today that it has launched interline
electronic ticketing with Hawaiian Airlines. In addition, America West now
offers customers the ability to book flights to/from all code-share cities
at americawest.com, so they can surf the web to paradise!
Ticketless travel is now available on all flights between Hawaii and more
than 60 destinations across North America, including four destinations in
Canada, eight in Mexico, as well as America West’s new transcontinental
markets that link Los Angeles and San Francisco on the West Coast with New
York/JFK and Boston on the East Coast. Flights may be booked at
americawest.com, where customers will receive 500 FlightFund bonus miles
for each ticket purchased. Customers of America West and Hawaiian are now
able to enjoy the convenience of purchasing a single e-ticket for
itineraries that include flights on both airlines. Previously, paper
tickets were required for code-shared flights.

Hawaiian Airlines is America West’s third partner for interline electronic
ticketing. The airline also has interline electronic-ticketing agreements
with American Airlines and Continental Airlines.

America West customers can also book flights to Hawaii by calling
1-800-2-FLY-AWA (1-800-235-9292). Hawaiian Airlines customers can book
flights to destinations in the domestic United States, Canada and Mexico
by calling 1-800-367-5320 from the U.S. mainland or 1-800-882-8811 from
the Hawaiian Islands.

America West and Hawaiian Airlines initiated their code-share agreement
and marketing partnership in October 2002. Through the agreement, the
airlines link route networks, coordinate flight schedules and offer a
seamless travel experience on flights between Hawaii and more than 50
destinations in the mainland United States, eight destinations in Mexico
and four destinations in Canada. Customers of both airlines also enjoy
reciprocal frequent flyer benefits.
