Hilton International is pleased to announce that an agreement has been signed with London Bridge Holdings Ltd and More London Development Ltd to lease the four-star, Hilton London Tower Bridge at More London, which will bring the number of Hilton hotels in central London to 15.

Aimed primarily at the corporate market, the hotel will be located at More London Place, opposite the Tower of London on the South Bank of the Thames.Ê

The Hilton London Tower Bridge will provide 245 guestrooms and executive suites with executive lounge, and will feature a 400-delegate conference and banqueting room.Ê The hotel will feature a fully equipped business centre, as well as a lobby café and a ground floor signature restaurant/bar.

A planning application has been submitted for the hotel, with a view to construction commencing in Autumn 2004 with opening due late 2006. The architects for the building are Jestico + Whiles.

This latest announcement from Hilton International covers just one of 52 upcoming hotels worldwide. In turn, it compromises one of seven new hotels for the Hilton UK & Ireland estate, including two further hotels for London.
