Military can win trips to St. Lucia with Delta

Delta Air Lines is celebrating its new Saturday and Sunday service to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia with a special yearlong sweepstakes for Military Honeymooners.From May 1, 2004, through Dec. 31, 2004, Delta Air Lines and the St. Lucia Tourist Board are offering one military couple each month the exciting opportunity to win a six day, six night island honeymoon - airfare and accommodations included - to St. Lucia. The Delta St. Lucia Honeymoon Sweepstakes is open to all active and reserve military personnel, aged 18 years and older.

“This exclusive sweepstakes is just another way for Delta to thank the deserving men and women who are serving our country,” said Dan Cupertino, managing director - Agency, Segmented and Leisure Sales. “We are proud to partner with the St. Lucia Tourist Board to offer eight lucky military newlyweds the opportunity to experience a romantic honeymoon to the beautiful island of St. Lucia.”

Military personnel are invited to enter the sweepstakes by visiting the St. Lucia Tourist Board’s website, stlucia.org.             

Delta will offer customers one round-trip, nonstop flight on Sundays and Mondays between its Atlanta hub and St. Lucia using 148-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. With the inauguration of the service on April 4, 2004, Delta will become the only airline to provide nonstop service to the island from Atlanta and the southeast.
