InterContinental Hotels Group announced today that the newly renovated 58-room Holiday Inn Express-Oceanside, Calif., recently opened, representing another addition to the mid-scale brand’s portfolio of limited-service hotels.
The Holiday Inn Express-Oceanside is owned and managed by R.C.S.S. Investment, Inc., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
“Holiday Inn Express hotels are designed to be the smart choice for value-conscious business and leisure travelers,” said Jenifer Zeigler, senior vice president, brand management, Holiday Inn Express. “Development of the first Holiday Inn Express hotel in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area is important in expanding our consumer base and establishing a strong presence in prime tourist locations.”
Just 30 miles north of San Diego and situated along El Camino Country Club’s luxuriant golf course, at the intersection of Interstate I-5 and Highway 78, the newly renovated 33,000 sq.-ft. hotel boasts modern décor throughout the lobby and guestrooms. The property is within walking distance to tennis and just minutes from Oceanside Beach, Carlsbad Beach, Legoland and Flowerfield, Calif. Sea World, Wild Animal Park and the San Diego Zoo are also a short drive from the hotel.
The Holiday Inn Express-Oceanside offers a variety of amenities such as an outdoor pool, spa, complimentary guest parking and a 24-hour front desk.
Standard Holiday Inn Express guest room accommodations feature comfortable queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, cable television, long-distance access, hairdryer, coffee machine, non-stick iron and ironing board.
