“We are very excited to bring the Renaissance brand that represents distinctive sophistication combined with a local flavor to Columbus,” said Jürgen Giesbert, senior vice president, Renaissance North America.  “Once renovations are complete, we expect that both visitors and the people of Columbus will discover a unique hotel that will be the city’s premier accommodation.”

The Renaissance Columbus Hotel will be distinctive and will capture the essence of the city and its namesake, Christopher Columbus.  The hotel will be redesigned to welcome guests with an inviting sense of arrival as they enter the lobby.  The new street restaurant and bar concept will cater to local clientele, as well as hotel guests, and feature imaginative food. The hotel will incorporate the Renaissance brand’s signature Savvy Service that makes guests feel recognized and respected.
