London’s foremost exhibition and event venues opt for leading online hotel
reservations network.
WorldRes, the online hotel reservations network, has announced an exclusive
agreement to supply accommodation content to Earls Court and Olympia (EC&O),
London’s premier event venues.The three-year contract will allow users of EC&O’s website, www.eco.co.uk,
to book from a wide variety of hotels in London, close to Earls Court and
Olympia. Visitors will additionally be provided with access to WorldRes’
portfolio of over 35,000 hotels, luxury resorts, independent and boutique

Shows using Earls Court and Olympia processed over 50,000 online hotel
bookings for trade events alone in 2003. As part of a re-launch of its
website, EC&O has opted to radically enhance its accommodation, selecting
WorldRes’ market-leading and competitive service to help achieve its
objective of providing a comprehensive range of customer services covering
all guests’ needs.

Harminder Bahl, Director of Commercial Operations at EC&O said: “Most of
Earls Court and Olympia’s two million visitors a year use our website to
help them plan their visit; they can book tickets, check details and
organise their travel. Following feedback from users we considered it was
important to also provide a tailored hotel booking option, focusing
specifically on key local hotels. This is because visitors coming from out
of town, who are booking a hotel in central London, often go to our website
to seek advice on the best hotel choice close to our venues.
