http://www.activehotels.com
has recorded a 102% increase in bookings this year for the Valentines week-end.
Active Hotels targeted existing customers in a special Valentines campaign by tempting them with promotional offers at romantic hotels and destinations across the UK. Throughout the campaign, Active Hotels recorded an increase in bookings compared to last year. On one particular day, over 200 special offers were taken up as users raced to take advantage of the deals on offer.

London topped the list as the most romantic destination with Edinburgh in second place. Boris Wagner, Deputy Manager at Devonport House, in Greenwich stated, “Our Valentines day package was a fantastic success thanks to Active Hotels special promotion. This provided us with an ideal opportunity to promote the romantic setting of our hotel on the world heritage site at Maritime Greenwich by the River Thames.”

Luke Errington, Consumer Marketing Manager at Active Hotels commented, “We are really encouraged by the success of this campaign which has proved highly valuable for both guests and hotels. As a result, we are committed to developing future campaigns with our partner hotels to ensure that key offers reach the right audience. In line with this strategy we are currently promoting special offers for the leap year week-end at the end of February.”

Active Hotels recently announced it is trebling its investment in its expansion across Europe, consolidating its position as a leading player in the highly competitive online hotel market.
