Hotels.Com and Delta Strengthen Alliance

  Hotels.com, http://www.hotels.com/, the largest specialized provider of
discount lodging worldwide, and Delta Air Lines Inc. , the world’s second
largest airline in terms of passengers carried, today announced they are
expanding upon their successful call transfer program. The call transfer
program is now being extended to all Delta call centers. Additionally,
travelers booking their airfare at Delta’s local city ticket offices will
be given a toll-free referral number to book their hotel accommodations
with Hotels.com. With the call transfer program once travelers have booked
their airline tickets with Delta, travelers needing hotel accommodations
are automatically transferred to Hotels.com call centers enabling them to
receive significant discounts off published rates at Hotels.com’s
inventory of approximately 9,000 hotels, timeshares, condos and vacation
rentals in more than 435 worldwide destinations that Delta serves.
Additionally, Hotels.com is now featured on Delta Air Lines ticket jackets
and its commercials are appearing on Delta’s on-board video presentations.
