Delta Launches Fly Now, Play Later

Delta Air Lines today introduced its “Fly Now, Play Later” promotion,
which allows SkyMiles members to earn one free* economy class roundtrip
ticket for every qualifying roundtrip transatlantic BusinessElite ticket
purchased and flown. Participants in the “Fly Now, Play Later” promotion
must be SkyMiles members, or join the program, and have a SkyMiles account
mailing address within the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, or the U.S.
Virgin Islands.
SkyMiles members who travel on Delta between Feb. 6 and April 15, 2004, on
qualifying roundtrips to Europe or India will earn a free roundtrip
economy class ticket for travel almost anywhere Delta flies worldwide.
Award tickets are valid for travel on Delta, Delta Connection carriers,
Delta Shuttle or Song, Delta’s low fare service, between Sept. 1, 2004,
and April 1, 2005. An unlimited number of award tickets may be earned.

*Taxes/Fees: Award tickets do not include a $3.10 Federal Excise Tax which
will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger’s ticketed
itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares
do not include Passenger Facility Charge(s) of up to $18.00, depending on
itinerary or September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per round-trip. For
travel to/from Hawaii/Alaska, International Air Transportation tax of up
to $13.80 round-trip applies. For travel to/from San Juan, PR/U.S. Virgin
Islands, International Air Transportation tax of up to $27.40 round-trip
applies. Canada taxes are not included and may fluctuate based on Banker’s
Selling Rate on the day the tickets are issued. Award tickets do not
include U.S. or International departure and arrival charges of $27.40,
U.S. and foreign user, inspection, security or other similarly based
charges, fees or taxes of up to $250, depending on itinerary. These taxes
and fees are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the
