Choice Hotels used eCLIPSE Advisors’ software, Lodgic Hotel RFP, to manage corporate RFPs for the 2003 bid season and has extended usage of the system for the 2004 hotel bid season. With more than 4,500 properties open worldwide, Choice Hotels is able to seamlessly manage the hotel RFP process and gain instant access to management data about responses, awards, and process duration.
“Choice Hotels is committed to providing exceptional service to its lodging guests as well as its corporate buyers,” said Allan Lockhart-Kane, vice president of worldwide sales for Choice. “It is because of this commitment that we again selected eCLIPSE Advisors as the software provider to automate our RFP process.”
“We are delighted to count Choice Hotels as an eCLIPSE Advisors client and are incredibly pleased that we have been able to contribute to the process improvements Choice Hotels has gained for 2003 and expects in 2004,” said Michael Boult, COO, eCLIPSE Advisors.
Via the software, branded as ChoiceROCS.com, Choice Hotels has increased corporate RFP response rates by as much as 15% for 2003 and expects an additional 10% improvement for 2004.
“In addition, we’ve been able to more quickly and easily coordinate with our international properties, which has resulted in greater client awards and increased service to our corporate buyers.” said Kane.
eCLIPSE Advisors provides both corporations and hotels with global software solutions that streamline the hotel RFP process, improve management decision making, and create an efficient corporate hotel contracting process.
