Choice Hotels Extend RFP Software Licensing Agreement

announced today the extension of a hotel RFP software licensing agreement for the 2004 hotel bid season.

Choice Hotels used eCLIPSE Advisors’ software, Lodgic Hotel RFP, to manage corporate RFPs for the 2003 bid season and has extended usage of the system for the 2004 hotel bid season.  With more than 4,500 properties open worldwide, Choice Hotels is able to seamlessly manage the hotel RFP process and gain instant access to management data about responses, awards, and process duration.

“Choice Hotels is committed to providing exceptional service to its lodging guests as well as its corporate buyers,” said Allan Lockhart-Kane, vice president of worldwide sales for Choice. “It is because of this commitment that we again selected eCLIPSE Advisors as the software provider to automate our RFP process.”

Via the software, branded as ChoiceROCS.com, Choice Hotels has increased corporate RFP response rates by as much as 15% for 2003 and expects an additional 10% improvement for 2004.
