Over the past decade, Cambridge Beaches, Bermudaå‘s premier cottage colony resort, has invested more than $30 million dollars to upgrade the property and achieve international recognition for its facilities, amenities and services. The result of this achievement has been rewarded with numerous accolades, awards and the reinvention of a superb spa destination.

Cambridge Beaches sits on a private twenty-five acre peninsula with dramatic vistas of both ocean and bay waters. An investment of $10 million brought about the most significant changes to this destination, with the addition of 18 new multi-million dollar, luxury cottage-style rooms and suites, bringing the total to 94 spread throughout the property.

Located on the highest point of the resort in an area known as The Oasis, created to promote a feeling of peace and tranquility, six of the new units are Cambridge Suites, the resort’s most expensive category, and feature sunken living rooms, whirlpool baths and raised bedrooms providing views out to the waters of Mangrove and Long Bay in Somerset.
“We are fulfilling the dream of many of our guests in that one will be able to lie in bed and enjoy one of the most inspiring scenes in Bermuda,” says Winfield.

Also enjoying international acclaim as one of the best resort spas is The Ocean Spa and Wellness Centre. The 10,000 sq-ft wellness area has three pools, a first-class fitness centre, solarium, sauna, steam, hairdressing and beauty salon, together with an impressive menu of over 100 holistic therapies and pampering treatments. The property also offers extensive leisure facilities on the island, including five private beaches and a marina.

The future vision for Cambridge Beaches sees the potential of five beachfront acres (recently purchased) adjoining the property.
