The enormous extension to the award-winning health spa at Stobo Castle, set in the Borders Region of Scotland, is due for completion late summer.

The partially glazed extension at Stobo Castle will feature a new spa centerpiece; the 25-m Ozone Pool with 12-station Ozone Hydro-Spa, supplied by Cheshire Spas & Pools.The wet area will house a Circular Aromatic Steam Room, Crystal Room, Snail Showers, Laconium, mixed Thermarium, Serail Mudroom and Ice Fountain from Thermarium.There will also be a new air-conditioned aerobics studio, beauty area overlooking the pool, gymnasium and heated relaxation seating.

With the addition of 40 luxurious treatment rooms, the range of both body and face treatments is to be expanded incorporating the latest industry developments from Finders, Darphin, Decleor and Thalgo. The spa will also present a brand new manicure and pedicure arena, and the castle will have additional seven bedrooms plus a new luxury suite by the end of the year.
