All of the hotels that have been selected to join ‘The Most Romantic Hotels of the World’ have had to meet certain criteria of minimum operating standards thus ensuring that those included are among the world’s most luxurious properties. The philosophy of not solely selecting hotels according to their five star rating but focusing on the facilities they offer for specific lifestyle sectors ensures that readers are guaranteed to find a hotel that perfectly matches their individual needs.

Created by Great Hotels of the World, the directory is beautifully illustrated with colour photography and each entry spans two pages to include detailed information on the romantic offerings available at each property. The diverse collection for 2003 features properties ranging in size from boutique, family-run hotels with just five guest rooms to larger resort or city-based properties.
