Spa and Solitude by the Sea

Thalasso Spa opens at Point Grace Resort on Providenciales
Virtually undiscovered, Providenciales is one of the 49 islands that comprise the British Crown Colony of Turks and Caicos. This caring island community of about 25,000 friendly locals and internationals is located halfway between Florida and Puerto Rico, providing the perfect location for a secluded spa retreat.

An extraordinary Caribbean resort, located on the glorious twelve-mile, sandy-white beach of Grace Bay, which successfully blends the best of all worlds - a charming hotel, luxurious living, intimate atmosphere and a stunningly simple spa - three huts open to sea breezes.

The Spa atPoint Grace is a full-service European-style Thalassotherapy spa which combines the knowledge of famous Thalgo Spas of France with the true beauty and relaxation of the Caribbean to create a place of pure heaven.

Thalassotherapy uses the properties of sea water as well as applications of sea mud and select seaweed. During treatments, which are performed whilst guests enjoy breathtaking views of Princess Alexandra National Marine Park in Grace Bay, specialists trained in European thalasso techniques apply selected products of the highest quality to naturally restore vital energy.

Fresh sea breezes and the magnificent view of the ocean all play an important part in the thalasso beauty treatments. Point Grace`s spa is located in three, white-washed buildings set apart at the east of the property on the powdery white sands of Grace Bay Beach, just back from the beach dune. The ocean-front treatment rooms are designed to allow doors and windows to be open to the ocean view and sea air while guests are being pampered in privacy. Each high-ceiling suite is fitted with massage table, marble sinks and an open-roof shower.

This simple, naturally beautiful environment blends well with the manager, Edmone`s, French-influenced philosophy of wellness therapy. She says, “I believe in a pure, natural approach without the need for artifice. Professionalism, the knowledge that comes through our hands and the best products are all that is needed.”

Here is the perfect place for relaxation, regeneration and reflection and visitors can now do just that with one of the resort’s unique spa tailor-made or custom packages. The current special seven night stay promises to restore, relax and rejuvenate the body and soul at Point Grace`s Spa. Guests can select from an array of treatments to customise their programme which includes two, one-hour treatments each day.
Following a pampering in paradise whilst listening to the ocean waves, spa visitors can refresh the palate with island fresh fruit health-shakes and taste the contemporary Caribbean cuisine offered on the Spa Menu, which features nutritional and exotic items served poolside. They can also swim, sail, snorkel, or just take relax on the beautiful Grace Bay Beach, voted the ‘Number One Beach in the Caribbean’. All on-site water sports are included, and daily spa treatments can be substituted for a round of golf at Provo Golf Club if desired.
