Asiaå‘s leading spa operator, Mandara Spa, has signed a contract to operate the spa at the new Prince Hotel & Residence in Kuala Lumpur. Scheduled to open the first quarter 2003, this will be Mandara Spaå‘s second spa in Kuala Lumpur and its 38th in Asia.

Mandara Spa at Prince Hotel & Residence located at Jalan Conlay,  will be a resort-style city spa, with Japanese design influences and a menu that blends traditional Asian treatments with a range of sophisticated beauty treatments from European brands. 

The spa will open with face and body treatments from French skin care specialist, Decléor. Later, the spa will add treatments from the UK’s most innovative spa brand, Elemis, making Mandara Spa the first outlet to offer exclusive Elemis treatment therapies and products in Malaysia. 

Located near the rooftop pool area on the hotel’s 10th floor, the spa will comprise two double Grand Suites, two double Villa Rooms, four single rooms, separate male and female relaxation lounges, reception and waiting lounge, and male and female changing areas with steam rooms.
Treatment room features include steam showers, oversized bathtubs and relaxation areas, while the relaxation lounges and several of the treatments rooms will have panoramic city views.

Designed by MGI Interior Design Pte Ltd of Singapore, the 400 sq-mt spa incorporates rich timbers with spot-lit water features and suspended outdoor water gardens fronting the Grand Suites. As with the hotel, the spa will have a contemporary feel with a generous amount of style and a quiet sophistication. 

Mandara Spa, founded in Bali in 1996, operates in Bali, Malaysia, Maldives and Thailand.
