New Executive Chef at The Cliff House Resort & Spa

Eric Delano has been appointed Executive Chef at The Cliff House Resort & Spa on the South coast of Maine, U.S.

Eric joins the resort with an impressive background and a flare for creative cuisine. But what truly sets him apart is his unique experience of feeding 30,000 people in a single day, when he was one of five chefs flown in to organise the kitchens of the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City.

“Feeling like you`re part of something larger than life”, was how Eric described his Olympic experience. And he plans to provide many delicious reasons why guests will enjoy more than just the spectacular ocean view while dining at this superb resort.

The Cliff House sits on seventy acres of land extending from Shore Road to Bald Head Cliff. It has been welcoming guests since 1872 with comfortable accommodation, fine food, amazing views and, just recently in its long history, a full-service spa.

The Cliff House Resort & Spa , was introduced in May 2002, in a new building located on the precise site of the original historic hotel. The indoor and outdoor pools offer sweeping views and the spa guest rooms are large enough for spa treatments. The spa rooms have king-size beds, gas-fired woodstoves, seating area and, as do all the guest rooms, a balcony overlooking the vast ocean at what is probably the most beautiful spa on the south coast of Maine.
