easyJet hit yet another record high in the proportion of seats sold online last week. During the full week ending 14 May, easyJet sold 111,845 seats on the Internet, which accounted for a record 74.5% of all sales for that period.

Once again, this impressive performance reinforces the airline’s position as the “web’s favourite airline”, and its standing as one of Europe’s biggest online retailers.

Online sales were boosted by successful Internet promotions run in the UK and Switzerland during the week. easyJet achieved an average of 77% of online sales over the entire 5 day period of the UK sale, reaching a peak of 83% on the busiest day.
