Pegasus Solutions, Inc. announced its Phoenix-based Application Service Processing (ASP) business unit is implementing an expanded technology services agreement with Millennium Hotels and Resorts, owned by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc. Millennium Hotels and Resorts operates 57 four- to five-star hotels around the world under the Millennium, Copthorne and Regal brands. Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions is a leading provider of hotel industry transaction processing solutions and electronic commerce services.
Key components of the comprehensive agreement include upgrading Millennium Hotels and Resorts` central reservations system (CRS); “powering” the online hotel reservations for the Millennium Hotels and Resorts Web site, www.book.with-us.com; and continuing to provide private-label voice reservation services and seamless connectivity to the global distribution systems (GDSs).
As a follow-up to migrating Millennium Hotels and Resorts` room inventory to Pegasus` RezView CRS platform at Pegasus` facility in Phoenix, Pegasus is implementing a powerful software upgrade to the upscale hotel company`s RezView CRS.
In addition, Millennium has been added to Pegasus` Online Distribution Database of more than 38,000 hotels. As a result, Millennium Hotels and Resorts will now be available for bookings on Web sites included in Pegasus` Online Distribution Network, including TravelWeb.com, Hotwire.com
and Expedia.com.
Pegasus` ASP unit also is providing Millennium Hotels and Resorts with seamless connectivity to the GDSs, as well as with private-label voice services representation for properties in the United States, Europe, Singapore and Sydney.
