Results of the third annual Travel E- Commerce Survey (by PhoCusWright, with contributions by Peppers and Rogers Group) show that 21 million Americans bought travel online in 2000, up 350 percent from 6 million in 1998.In addition, 12 million Americans now use the Internet as their main way to buy travel, up from 3.5 million two years ago.
