Agoda.com partners with Jetstar Airways

Agoda.com, Asia’s global hotel booking site and part of Nasdaq-listed priceline.com has announced a partnership with Jetstar Asia Airways, one the leading low-fare airlines in the Asia Pacific region.

Through the partnership, Agoda.com’s proprietary hotel inventory of thousands of hotels is accessible through Jetstar’s Asian online storefonts, with the two companies soon to co-develop holiday packages and specials to be offered via the Jetstar Holidays network.

Founded in 2003, Jetstar Airways provides low-cost flights to every major destination in the Asia Pacific region, including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Ho Chi Minh City, with thorough domestic coverage of Australia and New Zealand. From their Singapore hub, Jetstar Airways flies direct to 17 different destinations within Asia, and offers booking services in eight Asian languages. In February 2011, Jetstar carried 215,000 passengers.

Agoda.com enjoys a long-held reputation as the online travel agency (OTA) with the widest hotel coverage and most extensive promotional inventory in the Asia Pacific region. Agoda.com is available in 32 different languages, including traditional and simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Bahasa Malay.

President of Agoda Mr. Robert Rosenstein stated: “As two entities that have been focused on Asia Pacific destinations for much of the last decade, both Agoda and Jetstar have always been dedicated to getting travelers the best deals online. Working together, we hope to create even more compelling offers.”
