Jetstar to launch new flights from Sunshine Coast to Bali from $199^ with easy connections to Singap

Jetstar is making it easier and more affordable than ever for Sunshine Coast travellers to take off on an international adventure, with new direct flights to Bali and connecting services onto Singapore from 25 March 2026.

Sunshine Coast to Bali

Operating three times a week on Jetstar’s state-of-the-art Airbus A321LR aircraft, the new Sunshine Coast to Bali (Denpasar) service will provide more than 70,000 low fare seats annually.

The new service marks an exciting milestone for the region, with Jetstar becoming the first carrier ever to offer direct flights between Sunshine Coast and Bali.

With a direct flight time of just six hours, travellers can now skip the trip to Brisbane and fly straight to Bali’s beaches, culture, and tropical charm - saving time, money, and the road trip.

The new route becomes Jetstar’s tenth direct from Australia to Bali and fourth out of Queensland, following the successful launch of its direct flights from the Gold Coast earlier this year.

Sunshine Coast to Singapore

The arrival of these new flights into Bali is timed to connect to Jetstar’s services between Bali (Denpasar) and Singapore – allowing customers to take off from the Sunshine Coast in the morning and land in Singapore by dinner time.

Singapore provides a gateway to Southeast Asia and beyond on the Qantas Group’s international network, while providing a new way for tourists and business travellers to access the Sunshine Coast region.

Sale fares

To celebrate today’s announcement, Jetstar is launching a 48-hour Route Launch Sale with one-way sale fares from Sunshine Coast to Bali (Denpasar) available from midday Queensland time from just $199^ at jetstar.com.

Jetstar CEO, Stephanie Tully, said the new route was a game-changer for South-East Queensland travellers.

“We’re proud to be the first airline to connect the Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore. It’s a great win for travellers wanting an easy international getaway.

“With direct flights to Bali, travellers can trade hours on the road to Brisbane for extra time in paradise and enjoy more of what makes this island paradise so special.

“Jetstar is proud to be the largest carrier operating in South-East Queensland and we’re excited to continue expanding our network to meet strong low fares demand.”

Sunshine Coast Airport CEO, Chris Mills, said the announcement represents a transformational moment for the region in terms of growth and global reach.

“This is a game changer for the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Mills said.

“For the first time, locals can fly direct to Bali for an island holiday. Our research showed that this was a highly sought after destination for locals.

“But it gets even better - after a short stop in Bali, the services connect on to Singapore - a global hub. Travelling to Singapore via Bali allows passengers to connect to destinations right across Asia, Europe and beyond. It opens the world to our region and provides more opportunity for international travellers to land directly at our airport, only minutes from beautiful beaches and hinterland.

“The new route will strengthen the Sunshine Coast’s position as a global gateway for Queensland and enhance access for international visitors looking to explore the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and the wider region.”
