Saint Lucia has enjoyed the highest arrivals in March since the reopening of the industry after the pandemic. The paradise island recorded 32,110 visitor arrivals, up 21% on forecasts.

For Saint Lucia, fully vaccinated travellers no longer need to take pre-travel Covid tests, with unvaccinated travellers requiring a negative PCR test. Meanwhile Spain will allow unvaccinated arrivals entry with proof of negative PCR or antigen test.
Visitors can obtain a Covid-19 test conveniently at select hotels or at local testing facilities, with test results returned within the 72-hour time frame.

St. Lucia has unveiled a massive infrastructure upgrading and a new branding campaign at Caribbean Marketplace 2009.The new projects, revealed by Senator Allen Chastanet, St.Lucia Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation (pictured left), include a new cruise pier in Vieux Fort, the redevelopment of Rodney Bay, a new marina and yacht club in Castries Harbour, smaller marina developments in West Harbour, plus a new fishing complex.
