Sabre has launched a mobile app for travel agents on the go who need to book travel and serve customers. The Sabre Red Mobile Workspace provides access to the most commonly used agent functions including air, car, and hotel shopping and booking, customer profiles, PNR servicing, seat maps, ticketing capabilities and more.

Sabre president Tom Klein has been confirmed as successor to Sam Gilliland as chief executive of the company. Klein will serve as chief executive and president of the travel technology giant, while Gilliland will continue to serve on the board of directors.

Sabre Travel Network has signed a multi-year agreement with Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines. The deal means more than 370,000 travel agents connected to Sabre travel marketplace in more than 130 countries will be guaranteed access to the airline’s seats and fare classes.
