Sabre signs up TripAdvisor for Red App

Global travel technology company Sabre has partnered with TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, to bring the most in-depth, up-to-date seat and in-flight amenity information to agents via a new Sabre Red App. The world’s first B2B application store for the travel industry, the Sabre Red App Centre provides an open platform and marketplace for developers to build and promote unique applications that can be integrated into the Sabre Red Workspace, expanding the environment in which travel agents shop, book and manage travel.

Travel technology company Sabre has appointed Charles Young as senior vice president, corporate marketing and communications. Having served in similar roles for several Fortune 500 companies, including 15 years with General Electric (GE), he will lead Sabre’s internal and external communications, media relations, event and brand management, corporate responsibility, and marketing communications.

Sabre has appointed Harish Mysoré to senior vice president of strategy and business development.  With more than 20 years of business development experience, Mysoré will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities for Sabre and driving corporate strategies that deliver more value to Sabre’s customers. He will lead the company’s corporate development team to identify, evaluate and execute mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures.
