Qatar Airways Cargo continues to expand operations
Qatar Airways Cargo has welcomed three new Airbus A330-200F freighter to its fleet of seven aircraft. The new A330’s have replaced three Airbus A300 freighters that the airline has phased out of the fleet to make way for the new state-of-the-art aircraft.
Qatar Airways brings Dreamliner back to UK
Qatar Airways has resumed Boeing 787 Dreamliner services from London Heathrow after a worldwide grounding of the aircraft in January. The Doha-based carrier was the first to launch the Boeing 787 Dreamliner service from the UK in December, and today’s return to service means it remains the only airline in the world to operate scheduled 787 flights to and from the United Kingdom.

Qatar Airways has resumed its Boeing 787 services after a worldwide grounding of the aircraft in January. The airline’s first Boeing 787 to be redeployed operated flight QR116 from Doha to Dubai.
Hertz launches Arabic car rental website
Hertz and Qatar Airways have announced the introduction of an Arabic language option to their online booking platform, providing Arabic speaking passengers worldwide the ability to book Hertz rental vehicles in their preferred language for the first time. The Arabic option to the fully functioning website, launched in April 2012, is aimed at catering to the growing number of Arabic customers flying with Qatar Airways around the world, who also need onward ground transport once arriving at any one of the 125 destinations that the award-winning carrier flies to.

Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) has partnered with Qatar Airways to launch the fourth edition of their annual food festival in Doha. Renamed Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) the four-day event will take place at the Museum of Islamic Art Park from 28 to 31 March.
JetBlue announces codeshare with Qatar Airways
JetBlue Airways and Qatar Airways have announced a one-way codeshare agreement to connect the carriers’ networks via New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, subject to receipt of government approval. The two airlines have been interline partners since 2011, enabling customers to enjoy the convenience of a single combined ticket for Qatar and JetBlue-operated flights, plus other benefits including one-stop check-in and baggage transfer.
Qatar Airways inks deal with FC Barcelona
Qatar Airways has confirmed it will enter into a strategic partnership with football giants FC Barcelona which will see the airline’s brand name appear on first team shirts from the start of the 2013/14 season. The three-year agreement with the runaway Spanish league leaders and former winners of the Champions League will be effective from July 1st 2013.

Qatar Airways is to launch passenger flights to Chicago with a reduced schedule from April 10th. Originally planned to be daily, the non-stop Doha–Chicago route will now be operated three-times-a-week due to the ongoing problems with the Boeing Dreamliner.
