Culinary capital of Latin America, Peru, prepares for glittering World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony
World Travel Awards, regarded worldwide as the ‘Oscars of the Travel Industry’, has arrived in exotic Lima, Peru, where it will host the annual South & Central America Gala Ceremony today. The gala evening will be held at the fabulous Huaca Pucllana temple, allowing capital Lima to reveal not only its ancient mystique and charm, but also its world renowned cuisine.

InPeru road show to visit Middle East and Europe
Peru, one of the world’s fastest growing emerging economies, will next week embark on a major international road show with the goal of promoting greater inward investment from foreign markets. The tour will see a 35 strong Peruvian delegation led by senior government ministers and business executives from the worlds of politics, banking and commerce, visit the cities of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Frankfurt and London.

PromPeru arrives at Arabian Travel Market
PromPeru, the trade, tourism and investment office of Peru in Dubai will be present for the first time at ATM with a National Pavilion. Peru is ranked among the world’s ten most preferred destinations according to Ernst & Young, and Peru’s ministry of foreign trade and tourism has said that they expect a nine to ten percent increase in visitor arrivals in 2013.

Lima to host World Travel Awards South & Central America Gala Ceremony
World Travel Awards has confirmed the host for its annual South & Central America Gala Ceremony will be Lima, Peru. Regarded as the premier global awards ceremony programme for the travel, tourism and hospitality industry, the World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony will see entrants from across South America competing in over 35 categories.

Peru takes leading culinary destination crown at World Travel Awards
Peru has won out against stiff competition to be voted the World’s Leading Culinary Destination at the star-studded World Travel Awards Grand Final. The event, held in New Delhi, India, saw the South American country fight off competition from notable foodie destinations such as France, China, Italy, Spain and Thailand to claim the culinary crown.
