Tui Travel has reduced the price of some holidays to Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco by nearly half to address the slump in visitor numbers. The travel giant has lost £29 million as a result of unrest.

Officials at the US state Department have downgraded the travel warning for citizens considering travel to Egypt, urging Americans to consider the risks rather than avoid all nonessential travel. The security situation in Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea Resorts, including Sharm-el-Sheikh, is now considered calm, the State Department said.
Gap Adventures Resumes Tour Operations In Egypt
Gap Adventures, the world’s largest independently-owned adventure tour operator, has announced that it will resume tour operations in Egypt beginning 17 March 2011.
