easyJet plans third route to Tel Aviv
easyJet is planning a third route between the UK and Tel Aviv. The airline, which already flies to the city from Manchester Airport and London Luton Airport, will start services from London Gatwick Airport from 1 April 2014.
easyJet launches dedicated Chinese homepage
easyJet has launched a dedicated Chinese homepage in response to the growing number of Chinese customers flying with the airline and booking through easyJet.com. Customers using the new Chinese homepage will benefit from content translated into simplified Chinese with information about flying with easyJet.
easyJet boosts business network from Gatwick with new flights
easyJet has announced it will launch two new routes to Brussels and Strasbourg from London Gatwick starting on March 30th 2014. The new flights will operate twice daily to and from Brussels and four times a week to and from Strasbourg departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
easyJet to return record profits to shareholders
Low-cost carried easyJet has seen its share price rise by more than six per cent in trading this morning after it unveiled record profits and plans for a special dividend. The Luton-based carrier said it would return £175 million to shareholders as part of a one off special dividend, after revealing profits to the end of September 2013 rose 51 per cent to £478 million.
easyJet adds flights to Sicily
easyJet will serve a new destination from the airport today to Catania in Sicily, Italy’s largest island. The inaugural flight of the new thrice weekly service will take off from London Luton Airport on 30 March 2014.

easyJet has announced a further ten new routes which will launch as part of its summer 2014 schedule. The new routes will operate from its London Gatwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and Belfast bases to destinations across the UK and Europe.

easyJet has announced its expansion plans in Italy with the opening of a base in Naples. The new base, easyJet’s third in Italy and 24th in its European network, will be operational from spring 2014.

Sabre Travel Network and easyJet have partnered to advance the airline’s merchandising strategy through the Sabre travel marketplace. Sabre-connected travel agents can now select and pay for specific seats at the same time as they make a flight booking for their customers.
Transaero Airlines and easyJet sign commercial agreement
Transaero Airlines, Russia’s second largest carrier, and easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, have signed a Commercial Agreement on flights between Moscow (Domodedovo) and London (Gatwick).
easyJet adds two new destinations from Bristol
easyJet has added two new routes for Bristol Airport, with flights to Reykjavik and Marrakech launching in December 2013. The low cost carrier will operate the routes using 156 seater Airbus A319 and expects to carry over 55,000 passengers during the first 12 months.
easyJet expands in Germany
easyJet is planning to open a base in Hamburg as well as increasing its fleet in Berlin in Spring 2014. The announcement was made by chief executive Carolyn McCall at an event at Airbus’ facilities in Hamburg.
