easyJet has announced it will operate three new routes from this winter with the addition of Canary Island duo Tenerife and Lanzarote and southern French favourite Toulouse – which will operate all year round. The two Canary Islands are firm winter sun hot spots, while Toulouse - a gateway to the Pyrenees mountain range, will appeal to both to leisure and business travellers alike.

easyJet has welcomed British prime minister David Cameron to its headquarters in Luton. Several hundred easyJet employees, including pilots, cabin crew, engineers and administrative staff, attended the event. Cameron gave easyJet employees the chance to hear for themselves the government’s view on the forthcoming EU referendum.
easyJet launches new Mobile Host smartphone app
easyJet is helping to make travel easier for millions of its passengers thanks to real-time, personalised notifications which, through its mobile app, directly inform the traveller when they need to go to the gate or which baggage reclaim belt to head for. In the past year alone passengers who have signed up have received more than 4.5 million real-time notifications to help them travel through 14 European airports, including Amsterdam, Geneva, Milan Malpensa, Linate and Berlin Schoenefeld.
easyJet opens new check in at Gatwick
easyJet has opened its new check in area in the North Terminal at London Gatwick Airport. The fully automated bag drop facility for customers will help to reduce and eliminate check in queues. As a result of its introduction queue times have reduced by half and more than 90 per cent of easyJet passengers will wait less than five minutes at bag drop.
easyJet to recruit 450 pilots as expansion continues
easyJet has announced that it will recruit more than 450 new pilots. Positions available range from cadet pilots starting their career, experienced co-pilots from other airlines to direct entry captains and as well as introducing new talent to easyJet, opportunities will also be available for more than 140 of the airline’s current first officers to be promoted to captains.
easyJet launches winter 2016 schedule
easyJet has put its winter 2016 flights on sale, allowing travellers to book flights across Europe for departure until February 5th, 2017. Over 110,000 flights are set to take place across easyJet’s network between October 30th this year and February 2017, providing more than 18 million seats.

easyJet has today launched a new route from Malta to Geneva. the low cost carrier launched services to Malta in 2008 and operates flights to London Gatwick, Belfast, Manchester, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Newcastle and Rome Fiumicino.
