easyJet has today announced it will launch a new route to Dubrovnik from London Luton Airport. On sale today it will operate twice a week throughout the summer with the first flights commencing on May 24th, 2016. The route is expected to be popular amongst leisure passengers searching for summer sun and easyJet is expected to fly 21,000 passengers annually between Luton and Dubrovnik - commonly known as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ owing to its beautiful coastline and rich cultural heritage.

easyJet has added 12 weekly summer flights from London Luton Airport to Amsterdam and Barcelona and an extra daily flight to Zurich next winter. An extra 85,000 seats between Luton and the Dutch and the Catalan Capitals are now available, taking easyJet’s year round frequency to Barcelona to three flights a day, with up to six flights a day available between Luton and Amsterdam.

On sale today it will operate weekly throughout the summer with the first flights commencing on May 28th, 2016. Ryanair has released January traffic statistics revealing traffic grew 25 per cent to 7.5 million customers, when compared to last year, while load factors rose five per cent to points to 88 per cent. The new association has been founded by Europe’s five largest airline groups – Air France KLM, easyJet, International Airlines Group, Lufthansa Group, Ryanair – to represent the interests of its members when dealing with the EU institutions, international organisations and national governments on European aviation issues.
