Oberoi Group signs on for two new Doha properties
The Oberoi Group has entered into management contracts for two new luxury properties in Qatar. The first will be a 250 key luxury hotel in the West Bay area of Doha, while the second, 148 key hotel, will be a luxury serviced apartment building located in Lusail, Doha. Planning of both the projects is well under way and construction will commence early next year with completion of both projects in mid-2018.

Hamad International Airport traffic climbs
Hamad International Airport has reported an increase in its monthly passenger statistics compared to those at the old Doha International Airport (DIA). HIA saw an 11.36% passenger increase through its doors in July 2014 compared to July 2013. A total of 2,160,843 travellers departed, transferred and arrived into Qatar during July 2014.
