Delta Air Lines adds service to St Lucia
Delta Air Lines is adding a non-stop service from New York’s JFK International Airport to Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport. Commencing December 20th 2014, the weekly service will operate every Saturday throughout the year.
Delta Air Lines expands Caribbean services
Delta Air Lines is launching new non-stop routes from JFK-New York and Atlanta international airports to Sir Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados, starting on December 4th, 2014. The new services will be operated using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 160 seats, including 16 seats in Business class, 18 Economy Comfort seats and 126 seats in Economy.
Garuda Indonesia signs codeshare deal with Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines and Garuda Indonesia have announced a codesharing agreement to place Garuda code on Delta operated flights from Tokyo (Haneda) International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The flights will be conveniently timed to connect Garuda Indonesia’s flights between Jakarta and Tokyo-Haneda, offering both airlines’ customers one-stop travel between Indonesia and the US.
Delta launches new Seattle service to Seoul
Delta Air Lines celebrated new nonstop service from Seattle to Seoul today with a gatehouse inaugural ceremony. The flight marked Delta’s fourth nonstop international route added from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in a year, including London-Heathrow, Shanghai-Pudong and Tokyo-Haneda.

Delta Air Lines is today resuming its non-stop seasonal flights between Istanbul and New York-JFK. The flights will operate daily in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France-KLM.

Delta Air Lines this autumn will equip more than 20,000 flight attendants with handheld Nokia Lumia 1520 phablets, which will serve as their on-board manual and in-flight sales device as well as a platform for future, more personalised in-flight customer service.

Delta Air Lines, among the largest carriers in the world, has reported a net profit of $2.7 billion, excluding special items, for 2013. The figure represents an improvement of $1.1 billion from 2012, on revenue up three per cent at $37.8 bullion.
