Delta steps up services at Los Angeles
Delta Air Lines will debut increased domestic service beginning this fall at Los Angeles International Airport with new daily flights to four destinations and expanded service to nine existing markets.
Delta launches daily Seattle-Heathrow service
Delta Air Lines is planning to offer new daily nonstop service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to London Heathrow Airport beginning March 29, 2014. A 210-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft featuring 35 full flat-bed seats in BusinessElite, 32 seats in Economy Comfort and 143 Economy class seats will be used for the service.

Delta Air Lines takes stake in Virgin Atlantic
Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic Airways has today detailed a codeshare agreement across 108 routes that offers customers seamless connections to 66 destinations across North America and the UK. Today’s codeshare announcement coincides with Delta acquiring a 49 per cent stake in Sir Richard Branson’s airline - marking the next step towards a full joint venture between the two carriers.

Delta Launches new non-stop Shanghai service from Seattle
Delta Air Lines has launched a new non-stop service from Seattle to Shanghai today with an inaugural service ceremony. The flight is the latest addition to Delta’s growing Asian gateway in Seattle, as the service, between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Shanghai Pu Dong International Airport complements current non-stop service from Seattle to Beijing, Osaka, Tokyo-Narita and most recently, Tokyo-Haneda.
Delta Air Lines opens new $1.4bn facility at JFK
Delta Air Lines, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and JFK International Air Terminal LLC have opened the new Terminal 4 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, part of a $1.4 billion redevelopment program at JFK. “The state-of-the-art Terminal 4 facilities have been years in the making and Delta people, global customers and the residents of New York now have the international hub facility that they expect and deserve,” said Richard Anderson, Delta’s chief executive officer.
Delta Air Lines to resume nonstop Prague – New York JFK
Delta Air Lines seasonal nonstop service between Vaclav Havel Airport Prague and New York’s John F. Kennedy airport will recommence on Saturday 25 May 2013. The flight will operate daily throughout the peak summer season using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 209 seats in conjunction with Czech Airlines.

GOL expands codeshare deal with Delta Air Lines
GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes has announced a key milestone in its partnership with Delta Air Lines, the implementation of GOL codeshare on Delta’s flights from Brasilia to Atlanta. GOL will now sell Delta’s international tickets through its sales channels – website, Voe GOL stores, call centres and travel agencies.
Delta begins full flat-bed seat installation
Delta Air Lines is upgrading its Airbus A330 fleet – the final fleet type to receive the modification – to include full flat-bed seats in the BusinessElite cabin and new “slim line” seats, which offer more personal space throughout the Economy cabin. The first modified A330 operated its first flight yesterday from Atlanta to Detroit and will operate from Detroit to Amsterdam today. There are 32 A330s in the Delta fleet.
