Following a competitive pitch, the Croatian National Tourist Office (CNTO) has appointed travel and lifestyle specialist Rooster to step up its PR activity in the UK and Ireland. Rooster’s brief is to promote Croatia’s unrivalled diversity, highlighting the country’s strengths including its 1,244 islands and unique gastronomy.
International Travel & Destination Expo set to explore social networks in travel
Croatia is about to get its first tourism fare connecting tourist trends and social networks. The International Travel and Destination Expo (ITDE) will take place in the five star Le Meridien Lav hotel in Podstrana on the outskirts of the Adriatic port of Split from November 24th to 27th. ECTAA inks deal with Croatian tourist board
The European Travel Agent’s and Tour Operators Associations had finalised a deal with the Croatian National Tourist Board promoting the country as its Preferred Destination for 2011-2012. The agreement will bring mutual benefits to both travel agents and tour operators regrouped within the European umbrella organisation, ECTAA, and the Croatian National Tourism Board.
