Bristol Airport sees passenger numbers rise
Passenger numbers at Bristol Airport have risen for the third successive year. The number of people passing through the terminal was up 2.8 per cent compared to the previous year, making Bristol the only airport in the UK’s top ten to see growth each year since the end of 2009.
First steps for planned expansion of Bristol Airport
The first phase of development plans, which will ultimately enable Bristol Airport to handle ten million passengers a year, has been officially opened by the secretary of state for transport. Justine Greening cut a ribbon to mark the completion of three new aircraft stands – the first of more than 30 separate projects which will enable growth over the next decade.
Airport app keeps flyers informed
A new mobile app is helping passengers using Bristol Airport access travel information on the move. The Bristol Airport App, from StreamThru, puts travel tips and flight updates at the fingertips of frequent flyers and first time visitors alike.
