Boeing tests second 787-9 Dreamliner in United States
The second Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner completed a successful four-hour, 18-minute first flight earlier. The airplane, known as ZB002, departed Paine Field in Everett, Washington, at 08:06 and landed at 12:24 local time at Seattle’s Boeing Field.
Royal Brunei Airlines receives first Boeing Dreamliner
Boeing and Royal Brunei Airlines celebrated the delivery of the 787 Dreamliner – the first for the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Brunei and for south-east Asia. The airplane departed Paine Field in Everett Wednesday evening for a 6,540 nautical miles non-stop flight home to Bandar Seri Begawan International Airport in Brunei.

Jetstar receives first Australian Dreamliner from Boeing

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner took to the skies for the first time today, beginning a comprehensive flight-test program leading to certification and delivery in mid-2014. With its distinctive new Boeing livery, the newest member of the efficient 787 family completed a five-hour, 16-minute flight, taking off from Paine Field in Everett, Washington at 11:02 local time and landing at 16:18 at Seattle’s Boeing Field.

British Airways showcases Dreamliner to Rolls-Royce employees
British Airways has showcased its most technologically advanced aircraft, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, to enthusiasts in Derby, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Earlier today more than a thousand Rolls-Royce workers became plane spotters as the 787, fitted with Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, flew 1,000 feet over the company’s Derbyshire site, side-by-side with a Spitfire, to thank staff for designing and building the engines.
Hainan Airlines takes delivery of first Dreamliner
Boeing and Hainan Airlines today celebrated the delivery of the airline’s first 787 Dreamliner. The delivery is the first of ten 787s for Hainan Airlines. “Today is a great day for Hainan Airlines as the most technologically advanced and fuel efficient airplane in the world joins our fleet,” said Mu Weigang, vice chairman of Hainan Airlines.
